Congratulations to the following Choir students who performed excellently at MSVMA State Solo and Ensemble yesterday at Flint Institute of Music before a judge. They sang two pieces of different styles, and then had to sing music that they had never seen before for another judge before they were given a rating: Dayna Edwards, Emilee Major, Kristina Schalau, Arielle Campbell, LeRae Mossner, Joanne Dicks, Kandi Fields, Hannah Steele, Laura Burger, Hannah Wright, and Nicole Hill. Four groups performed duets for a judge and the rest sang solos for a judge. Four events took a one rating--the top rating you can receive--Emilee Major, Hannah Steele, and LeRae Mossner for their solos, and Emilee Major and Hannah Steele for their duet. Way to go Choir students!
